# What is LaunchDAO?

We're thrilled to announce that we have decided to give the community the keys to the castle: essentially, the community, together, will kick off the private, compliant, decentralized launch of Panther Protocol's public sale process.

As a member of the valued Panther community who has successfully completed KYC, you are being invited to participate in the exclusive **Panther LaunchDAO - and yes, you will be rewarded for that!**

In addition to receiving a $PreZKP non-transferable token, which is a badge of honour, you will also receive $ZKP tokens after the token launch! Holding $PreZKP may also make you eligible to enjoy future rewards and perks in our protocol. It turns out, helping to restore privacy and being a Panther Privacy Pioneer has its privileges!

Privacy is at the core of what we do, therefore when we implement the voting mechanism for the launch, we require $PreZKP for participation. We use ZKP (Zero Knowledge Proof) technology to perfectly hide the links between token sale participants and Panther LaunchDAO participants, so that it’s infeasibly hard to determine who participated in the launch vote, and which way participants voted on the Panther LaunchDAO process.

We want to thank you in advance for your participation on the LaunchDAO. This is an important step towards building the privacy layer for DeFi and Web3 - an important primitive that the entire blockchain community can rely on for the long haul.
