Fees

The fee structure within Panther's ecosystem is designed to be straightforward and transparent, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience. Fees are mainly charged at two points: when assets are withdrawn from the Multi-Asset Shielded Pools (MASPs) and for processing services.
Protocol fees are charged only upon the withdrawal of assets from the MASP. This is a direct cost applied when users decide to move their assets out of the privacy-preserving environment of the MASP and back into their wallet address or other destination.
Processing fees, on the other hand, are paid to relayers who process user transactions in a privacy-preserving way. The processing fee comprises the relayer's service fee and the blockchain network fee. The network fee (e.g., for the Polygon network on v1), varies depending on the available block space on the executing network. Processing fees are denominated in zZKP, providing a utility for the Panther token within the ecosystem.
