Voting FAQs
How do I vote?
Please see Voting.
My wallet shows 1 $PreZKP but snapshot.org shows 0 voting power, what do I do?
This is happening because you claimed PreZKP after the snapshot was made for the proposal you are looking at. This is how snapshot.org works (and why the service is called "Snapshot") - because whenever a new proposal is created, it takes a snapshot of the voting power at that block number, and uses that snapshot to determine who can vote and how much voting power they have.
For example, proposal #1 was created at December 31st, 2021 01:45am UTC (block 13910228 on Ethereum mainnet, which corresponds to roughly block 23163875 on Polygon). So only people who held $PreZKP before that time could vote on that proposal.
For each proposal, you can see the start time displayed at the top right of the page.
Impact on rewards
If you held $PreZKP before the proposal closed on January 2nd, 2022 04:00am UTC, you will still receive rewards for participating in LaunchDAO, even if you didn't vote in proposal #1.
And even if you claimed $PreZKP after this first proposal closed, you may still be eligible for rewards by voting on any other proposals, so vote when you can, and stay tuned for further announcements!
I voted but I still see 1 $PreZKP in my wallet. Is this correct?
Yes this is entirely correct. Voting does not cost or spend $PreZKP, so your token will entitle you to vote in all future proposals.
Please note that this does not mean that you can vote multiple times on each proposal. Only one vote will be counted.
How can I tell whether my vote was successful?
After submitting your signature and vote, look for "You" at the top of the list of voters on the proposal page. If it's there, your vote has been counted.
Please note that the vote is off-chain, so you will not be able to see it on etherscan or polygonscan.
I'm experiencing some error on the snapshot.org website. What should I do?
The snapshot.org service and site is run by the Snapshot community, entirely independently of Panther Protocol. We will do our best to help with any issues you may encounter when voting there; however for more tricky issues you may find it more effective to ask for help in their Discord server or Telegram channel. They also have a documentation site, although it is more focused towards helping developers than voters.
